PROJECT THEME
Informational Guide about a Non-Profit Organization. Select a non-profit organization of your choice and create an informational packet about the group you have selected. Any information you include in the packet, such as images, headlines etc. should relate to the organization.
Set-Up
Create a ten page document in InDesign with the following specifications:
8.5 x 11in (width x height)
Gutter of 0.19in
Margins of 0.44in
Requirements
Parent Page (formerly known as Master Pages)
Create at least one master page to be applied on pages 2-9. Remember, this should be a unifying element that is aesthetically pleasing on all of your pages.
Paragraph Style
Create a new paragraph style called Main Copy. Select the font, font size, color etc. of your choosing. Use throughout your document.
Character Style
Create a new character style. Select the font, font size, color etc. of your choosing. Use throughout your document.
Nested Character Style
Create a nested character style to be used in your document at least once. You can apply it inside your Main Copy paragraph style or in a separate paragraph style. Select the font, font size, color etc. of your choosing.
Page Layout
Page One – Cover Page
Layout your cover page as desired.
Pages Two to Nine – Support Pages
Create a headline per page as appropriate. Place at least nine images somewhere throughout these pages. Every image must have a caption. Utilize placeholder text and other elements as desired.
Page Ten – Back Cover
Layout this page as desired.
