Brand Identity Proposal

Assignment Description

Logo

Naturally, as part of this project you will be required to create a logo for the client. Use your creativity here while remembering the five principles of effective logo design – simple, memorable, timeless, flexible, and appropriate. As always, I recommend showing your logos at large and small sizes, in grayscale, and arranged into horizontal and stacked options as needed.

Business Card

Design should utilize your proposed new logo.
Don’t forget to account for the front and back of the card.
Dimensions can be flipped for portrait/landscape mode design as appropriate.
Size of the card can be scaled proportionately for presentation purposes.

Letterhead

Design should utilize your proposed new logo.
Size can be scaled proportionately for presentation purposes.
Design a second sheet as you feel appropriate

Website Homepage with Favicon

Design should utilize your proposed new logo.
You will design the homepage only at two different sizes – one desktop, one mobile.
You are not expected to code anything. The goal of this requirement is to see the identity design across multiple
platforms and devices.
Include a 32 x 32 pixel favicon with your website design.

Style Guide

Develop a 1-2 page style guide stating your design decisions and recommendations. This should include:
Mandatory Requirements:
Company Fonts
Company Colors
Logo Usage Specs

Optional Requirements:
Imagery/Patterns/Icons
Composition/Look and Feel

Remember that a brand identity extends far beyond just a logo. A style guide will include recommendations for fonts/colors/logo usage/composition/look and feel etc. on ALL materials. Fonts and colors should include ones to compliment the logo, not solely the ones used in the logo.
